A PLACE IN HISTORY
Explore the rich history on display at the Farragut Museum. Enter FREE for a self-guided tour (or call 865-218-3377 to arrange a curated tour) of permanent displays and a gallery dedicated to rotating special exhibits. Learn about David Glasgow Farragut, the first admiral in the U.S. Navy, who was only a teenager when he commanded his first ship. FREE and open Monday–Friday 10am–4:30pm.
A new Farragut Museum exhibit featuring toys belonging to current and past volunteers as well as items from the Museum's permanent collection, opens to the public on Friday, Aug 16. "Timeless Toys" will remain open through the end of the year.
